Deceiving Self and Deceiving God

Despite remaining connected to a particular Shaykh for a long time, if the affinity towards Shariah, the respect for Islamic ideals, and the passion to obey the injunctions of Shariah are not born in one's heart, it means that such a person is no Shaykh, nor is such a follower a seeker. Both of them are just deceiving themselves and God.
