THE AWAISIA ORDER
Hadhrat Shah Waliullah Rehmatullah Alaih has mentioned the qualities of Silsila Awaisia on page 86 of Hum'aat.
"In short, just as water remains present underground, then sometimes it sprouts in the form of a spring, similarly true Tasawwuf and Sulook also disappear sometimes. Then Allah creates a person, and by virtue of his being the spring of Tasawwuf and Sulook gushes out and lights up the hearts of a large number of people. This is the reason why Silsial Awaisiah is not connected in the apparent sense. But in reality it is connected. Those who do not have knowledge of imparting and receiving Faiz from Rooh cannot understand this connectivity, and resort to objections based on their ignorance."
