تزکیہ نبوت کے فرائض منصبی میں شامل ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ اس آیت مبارکہ میں نبی رحمت ﷺ کے فرئض منصبی بیان فرما رہے ہیں۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ لوگوں کو اللہ کی طرف دعوت دیتے یعنی آیات پڑھ کر سناتے، پھر جو کوئی ان آیات ہر ایمان لاتا تو رسول اللہ ﷺ اس کا تزکیہ فرما دیتے۔ یہ تزکیہ ان انوارات و برکاتِ نبوت کی وجہ سے ممکن ہوا جو نبی کریم ﷺ کے سینہ اطہر سے صحابہ کرام نے حاصل کیں، اور تزکیہ کا وہ براہ راست مقام حاصل کیا جو بعد کے زمانوں میں آنے والوں کے لئیے ممکن نہیں، اسی تزکیہ پر صحابیت کا دارومدار ہے، بعد کے دور میں آنے والا کوئی شخص صحابی اسی لئیے نہیں بن سکتا، کیونکہ تزکیہ کا جو درجہ صحابہ کرام نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے براہ راست حاصل کیا، وہ بعد کے ادوار میں ممکن نہیں البتہ برکات نبوت سینہ بہ سینہ سلاسل تصوفکی صورت میں آج بھی محفوظ ہیں۔
اس آیت سے یہ بھی پتہ چلتا ہے کہ کتاب و حکمت کی تعلیم تزکیہ کے بعد ہے۔ وجہ یہی ہے کہ جب تزکیہ سے دل صاف ہوتا ہے تب ہی قرآن اور دین کی صحیح سمجھ آتی ہے۔

Tazkiya, or Spiritual Purification, is Among the Duties of the Holy Prophet ﷺ
"Indeed, ALLAH (SWT) has done a great favor to the faithful, that HE sent unto them a Prophet from among them, (a Prophet) who recites to them HIS verses, and purifies them, and teaches them of the book and the wisdom." [Aal-e-Imran 64]
Tazkiya is among the responsibilities of all the Prophets (AS), including the Final Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. This Ayat describes the responsibilities of the Holy Prophet ﷺ، which start with Dawat, or inviting towards Allah by reciting His Verses. After a person embraces faith, the next step is the spiritual purification, and the Holy Prophet ﷺ purifies that person, This is Tazkiya, which is achieved by virtue of the Prophetic Beneficence (Barkaat) that emanated from the sacred chest of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and were absorbed by the hearts of the Sahaba. Hence, the Sahaba directly benefited from the source of Tazkiya. That's why people who came after the Sahaba can never achieve the status of Sahabiyat, because they can never achieve the level of Tazkiya that the Sahaba were fortunate to achieve directly from the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
This esteemed Ayat also depicts that teaching the Book and the Wisdom come after the Tazkiya. Tazkiya or Tasawwuf improves one's understanding of the Quran and the Deen tremendously.
